John Granen Photography was established in the 1980’s consisting of a team of professionals and John, creating high quality imagery for the design, publication and advertising community. His photography is oriented towards interior design, architecture, still life and portraiture.
John’s team thrives on collaboration, overcoming challenges and creating photographs that inspire, motivate and achieve award winning recognition for his clients. The everchanging light of Northwest weather, inspires John and influences his approach to lighting subjects, large or small. Natural light applied or emulated, enhanced or diffused, designed to create a sense of integrity and timelessness, elevating his subjects from the crowded imagery of today's world.
As a native of Seattle, his personal endeavors include fundraising for the American Lung Association through the Climb for Clean Air program. John is also a member of the American Society of Media Photographers, and the Mountaineers. When not on assignment, you may find him on a trail in the Cascades, or by the ocean with his camera.
